The JAE Perspective
Dear potential juniors, are you wondering how JC life is like in Eunoia? Are you worried about stepping into a JC which comprises a large number of IP students? Perhaps you may have concerns about fitting in or making friends?
If you have such doubts, look no further! In this EJC Press article, we reflect upon the issue of the JIP/JAE divide – is it as bad as it sounds on a few Reddit threads? Our senior, Dillon, gave his thoughts on this issue from the perspective of a JIP student. A year on, three Eunoians who joined EJ via JAE give you their accounts.

Like you, our JC2 Eunoians had to make a path for themselves. Find out why they made Eunoia their choice.
Alumni Voices
As a young school, we are proud to have our alumni speak sincerely about their experience in Eunoia. Read more in the interviews conducted by very own EJC Press!
“I think I began identifying firmly as a Eunoian after joining my class in J1 and I think throughout the year of stress and academic anxiety, ending the year off with Euphoria was one of the most heartwarming experiences. I think the school has put in place so many opportunities to grow and learn outside the confines of the curriculum and that’s something I really appreciated.”
— Erica Wee, EJC Class of 2019, Alumna of Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ School
“My time in Eunoia has certainly helped me grow as a person, both emotionally and intellectually. The focus on reflection, introspection, and metacognition has helped me become a thoughtful person who extracts knowledge from my experiences, before subsequently translating it into some form of action to achieve personal growth.”
— Koh Hekang, EJC Class of 2018, Alumnus of Victoria School
“My time in EJ was filled with moments that not only made me genuinely happy but also planted various questions in my head. It made me think about what I wanted in my life, my definition of success, what makes me happy and at peace with myself, who I am and so on … I think my own answers to these questions are in flux, but my experience in EJ gave me the push I needed to pursue my passion and take some (calculated) risks. While not knowing what the future holds makes me anxious and fearful at times, there’s a kind of curiosity that has developed in me, wondering beyond what is and what my world could be.
